Product Overview

In reality,many containers are connected with each other,such as dust collector and pipe、food bin and pipe,once adevice explodes,the flame and air pressure will spread to other devices along with the pipe,thus causing secondary explosion or multiple explosions of the device.Equipped the explosion isolation flap valve can effectively prevent the spread of explosion,protect adjacent device or workshop which can prevent secondary explosion or multiple explosions.


Working principle

During a dust explosion, the shockwave precedes the flame front. The explosion isolation valve rapidly closes upon detecting the shockwave and is securely locked in place by its self-locking mechanism, effectively preventing the propagation of both flames and pressure waves.

After the explosion event, the valve can be manually reset. Following simple maintenance and safety evaluation, it becomes ready for reuse. During normal operation, the valve disc remains open through an assisted opening device.

Use and Maintenance

It is important to ensure that the bursting valve is open before the system fan is operated to prevent damage to the fan and other equipment due to locking of the valve flap closure.

Before operating the system fan, it is necessary to ensure that the explosion-proof valve is in the open state to prevent damage to the fan and other equipment due to the valve disc being closed and locked.
After installation and use, maintenance should be carried out at least once a month, and the frequency of maintenance can be appropriately increased according to specific working conditions.
After maintenance and assembly, a sealing test should be conducted and detailed records should be made for future reference.
