Differences between safety valves, pressure stabilizing valves, pressure relief valves, and pressure reducing valves
2019-03-22
Safety valves, pressure reducing valves, pressure stabilizing valves, pressure relief valves are all pressure valves, mainly because of the difference in function. Safety valves are valves used to prevent damage to boilers, pressure vessels and other equipment or piping due to overpressure. When the pressure is slightly higher than the normal working pressure, the safety valve automatically opens, so that the pressure drops. When the pressure is slightly lower than the normal working pressure, the safety valve automatically closes, stops discharging fluid and maintains the seal.
