Positive Arch Slotted Rupture Disks (LC)

Product Overview

Positively arched rupture disks with the concave side on the high pressure side of the pressure system. A positively arched, slotted rupture disk consisting of a single piece of metal, grooved, with the concave side facing the process media when the LC series rupture disk is installed. When the operating pressure exceeds the recommended operating ratio, the grooved portion of the rupture disk weakens until rupture occurs.When rupture occurs with the LC model, the rupture disc opens along the grooves and folds back along the outlet side of the gripper.

Safety Valve Protection

When rupture disks are installed under the safety valve, they isolate the valve's working parts from corrosive media.
