Reverse arch rupture disks with the convex side on the high side of the pressure system. Reverse-arch knife-type rupture disks, consisting of a single piece of metal, in which the diaphragm is destabilized and flipped over under pressure, and a blade on the outlet gripper cuts the diaphragm open to relieve the pressure.
Options
Teflon liners provide effective containment of corrosive media and protect the rupture disk from corrosion.
NOTE: Lining withstands temperatures lower than strength diaphragm.
Mating Clamps
The YDJ Holder, Recessed Holder is designed specifically for use with YD Series rupture disks.
Standard clamp materials: stainless steel, carbon steel, contact us for other material requirements.
Gripper Options
Gauge holes, tees, tubing, relief valves, gauges, special flange faces, coatings
Safety Valve Protection
When rupture discs are installed under safety valves, they isolate the valve's working parts from corrosive media.
Relief components: pressure gauge, tee, relief valve, receiver
