At present, China's industrial sector has shifted from a high-speed development mode to a high-quality development mode, with green and low-carbon becoming the "main theme" of industrial transformation and development, and the treatment of environmental pollution and the reduction of VOCS emissions becoming an urgent issue for industrial development.
SINOPEC Zhenhai Base is led by SINOPEC Zhenhai Refining & Chemical Branch, which is a key backbone refining and chemical enterprise under SINOPEC, and is the largest, most competitive, most technologically advanced, best-managed, and best-developed refining and chemical enterprise of SINOPEC. In 2022, Zhenhai Refining & Chemical overhauled the storage tanks of Oil Storage Management Center, adopting BasCo flame arresting breather valve to replace the outdated and old products, and achieved the standard of VOCS emission detection in the tank area.
In 2023, Zhenhai Refining and Chemical's oil refining unit and tank area environmental protection improvement project, using BasCo flame arresting boom flame arrestor. At the project site, Octagon's products were highly recognized by industry experts.
In 2024, SINOPEC Zhenhai Refining Company awarded Jiangsu Bafang Safety Device Co.
