BasCo conducts "CPR+AED Emergency Training to Strengthen Workplace Life Safety Defense"

In China, over 500,000 people die suddenly from cardiac causes each year, with one person experiencing cardiac arrest every minute, and more than 80% of these incidents occur outside hospitals. The golden window for CPR is only 4 minutes; exceeding this time can lead to irreversible brain damage, and the survival rate drops to nearly zero after 10 minutes.

Tragedy rings an alarm for everyone: complete first aid equipment is far from enough to protect lives. Mastering first aid skills and daring to rescue on the spot are the core confidence to protect oneself and colleagues' safety.
Based on the needs of workplace safety and security, in order to fill the gaps in the emergency rescue capabilities of all staff, our company invited Dr. Zhang Cuicui from Xuzhou Hospital of Beijing Ditan Hospital affiliated with Capital Medical University yesterday to conduct a special emergency training on cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)+AED automatic external defibrillator in the company, bringing professional emergency knowledge into the workplace and truly implementing life-saving skills for all staff.

This training adopts a combination of "theoretical lectures+on-site demonstrations+practical operations", which is suitable for emergency situations in the workplace. The content is professional and highly practical.
On site demonstration is the core part of this training. Dr. Zhang Cuicui demonstrated the complete set of operations step by step according to the standard emergency procedures with the help of a human simulator: from how to quickly determine the patient's consciousness and breathing, to calling for help in the first place; Further demonstrate the standard technique of chest compressions, depth of compression, and frequency of compression; Finally, explain the key points of standardized artificial respiration, as well as the placement of AED electrode pads and precautions for equipment use, and clearly disassemble and demonstrate each key operational detail.

In the practical stage, employees from BasCo went on stage to practice in person, and everyone was serious, focused, and actively participated. When starting to use it for the first time, many people have problems such as inaccurate pressing positions, insufficient force, and irregular frequency. Dr. Zhang Cuicui provided guidance throughout the process, corrected the wrong movements in a timely manner, and patiently answered questions. Everyone gradually becomes proficient in the operation essentials and can independently cooperate with voice prompts to complete the full set of AED operations, truly learning practical first aid skills.

At present, BasCo has purchased AED equipment and placed it in a prominent location in the office area. This first aid training has filled the gaps in the first aid abilities of all staff, achieving dual protection of first aid equipment and skills.
