On June 22, "SY/T 0511-2024 and other standard publicity and tank area safety technology and management training" was successfully held in Xuzhou! In this activity,Jiangsu Bafang Safety Device Co., Ltd.explored the essence of the new standard with industry experts and enterprise representatives to enable the essential safety upgrade of the tank area.

 One of the core contents of this training is an in-depth interpretation of the new standard of Vertical Cylindrical Steel Welded Storage Tank Accessories (SY/T 0511-2024).

 At the training meeting, Dr. Liu Lili, chief engineer of Jiangsu Bafang Safety Device Co., Ltd., specially interpreted the application of the safety discharge device in the petrochemical storage and transportation system, shared the selection and application technology of the breathing valve, analyzed the root cause of the failure of the discharge device in the accident case, and proposed a safety management optimization plan in line with the new standard.

  Zhang Xue, deputy general manager of Bafang, introduced the relevant technologies of Bafang fire arresters in his keynote speech. At present, Bafang has the largest comprehensive safety pressure relief R&D and testing institution in China, which can solve the disconnection between parameter design and practical application through standardized testing, and significantly improve the reliability of fire retardant.

  Mu Tao, deputy general manager, shared the results of the localization of the bending valve. As a new type of safety pressure relief equipment, the bending valve can be used to deal with many problems that are difficult to solve by traditional equipment. It has been successfully applied in many petrochemical projects.

During the training, the trainees walked into the test base of Bafang Company and watched the breath valve performance test, burst piece test and bent pin valve test test at close range.
