The 7100 Emergency Relief Valve can be used to handle overpressurization situations that cannot be handled by standard tank vents, and has a discharge capacity in accordance with API2000 that is sufficient to handle emergency venting in the event of a fire, as well as being used as an access point for inspections and maintenance.
The 7100 Emergency Relief Valve is a pressure emergency relief valve with no suction function. When the pressure in the tank rises to a set pressure, the hinged cover opens to relieve the pressure and resets when the overpressure dissipates. The hinge mechanism ensures that the hinged cover is accurately reset.
